Stepping out onto the deck, Law noticed her on the railing and gave a curl of his mouth. Strolling to the railing, he leaned on it as he stared out at the blue expanse of water.
Never tearing his gaze from the sea, he spoke, saying nostalgically, "It all seems like a distant memory."
The woman tilted her head and glanced at him questioningly, blinking. "What does...?"
She saw a surreptitious smile curve at Law's lips. "Three years ago...when I recruited you into my crew."

Something soft and fluffy impacted into Clarion's face, and she let out a muffled yelp before bolting up into a sitting position. Flicking strands of hair from her face, she glanced around the dark room before spotting Conis looking at her with a grin. "It's time to get ready for school!"
Grumbling in a frustrated manner, Clarion clawed her way out of the covers before accidently tripping on a stray sheet and tumbling to the floor in a tangle of limbs. She heard Vivi chuckle and scowled, before rolling out and jumping up.
"So what's the process?" Clarion mumbled sleepily, making an effort to make her bed properly. "Do we like eat first then get dressed or what...?"
"Normally, we exercise a bit first. Then we clean up a bit, have breakfast and have our classes an hour later," Conis explained. "It was Nami's turn to wake everyone up today, and she has to do it for the rest of the week."

Aaaaaand today it begins! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! DXSo, today is my older brother's birthday. Happy Birthday brother. Hope its a great one. YOU'RE FINALLY 21!!! But with him starts the onslaught of birthdays. A week from today? My mom's birthday. 5 days after hers? Trigger and Talin's birthdays. 2 days after that? Rocky's, AND my birthday. Day after Gavin's. 2 days after that? The twins that I grew up with. and god are there more after that. I can already feel myself sickening of birthday cake and birthday wishes. I'm sure i even forgot some birthdays in there but my point has been made. There will be no break for me for some time im sure. Even before today there were birthdays starting the onslaught, but I always mark it with my brother because... well... he my brother. And though he may be a royal ass and need to go die in a hole at some points in time, he still just that. my brother. The one man in my life that has been there for me from that start. The one guy who never didn't want me and accepted me for who I was no matter whAaaaaand today it begins! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! DX by ~Eisielae
